A jelek szerint a Gearbox is csatlakozott a napjainkban oly divatos - ám ettől még gusztustalan - trendhez. A II. világháborús FPS-ek sorát erősítő Brothers in Arms bár még meg sem jelent, a Half Life kiegészítők gyártásával híressé vált csapat már megkezdte a folytatás fejlesztését. A project jelenleg még tervezési fázisban van, így részletekkel és megjelenési időponttal nem szolgálhatunk: reméljük nem sietik el a dolgot.

#1782 De Brothers in Arms Road to Hill 30 demo zal ongeveer een week voor de game release uitgebracht worden en bevat twee levels.
Het eerste hoofdstuk is "Rendevouz with Destiny", waarin de bekende luchtdropping op D-Day centraal staat. In dit level leer je ook de belangrijkste karakters en het controlesysteem kennen.
Het tweede deel "The Fall of St. Come" is de derde dag (D+2) van D-Day, in St. Come-du-Mont. Je zal hier de kenmerken van je squadleden ontdekken en door tactisch te vuren en manouvreren tegen verschillende eenheden moeten vechten. Alles is zo accuraat mogelijk nagemaakt. Alles wat er toen stond, staat er nu weer exact hetzelfde... op jouw computerscherm! -

#1777 Brothers in Arms is played in "Chapters"
A chapter is a segment of game play that's usually focused on one of the key locations.
Chapters are titled appropriately:
- Ambush at Exit 4
- Objective XYZ
- Dead Man's Corner
- The Fall of St. Come
- Purple Heart Lane
- Cole's Charge
- Push into Carentan
etc...
There are 20 chapters in the game
Each chapter varies from about 20 minutes to 70 minutes of game play - depending upon where in the narrative you are and what kind of squad leader you turn out to be.
Most veteran gamers can complete the game for the first time in about 12-15 hours on Normal skill level, assuming they spend no time examining the extras they unlock as they go.
There are about 5 to 10 hours of bonus materials that are unlocked as you go.
There's also a multiplayer game which features ten (10) missions of squad leader versus squad leader or team vs. team combat for a more cooperative on-line experience.
Every human in the multiplayer game commands a team of AI controlled squad members and you should use the team to employ fire and move tactics if you hope to win.
The multiplayer game provides infinite hours of play and it supports on-line (LAN or Internet) for all platforms (PC, Xbox, PS2) and split screen play for the consoles. -

#1773 Jeder, der sich mit Brothers in Arms auseinander setzt, wartet gespannt auf das Spiel, das am 17.März.05 erscheinen soll. Doch vorher soll es gefälligst noch ne Demo geben, so der allgemeine Tenor in der Community. Das sich diese Fragen auch in Forum in letzter Zeit und im speziellen nach der 0 Fehler Meldung extrem vermehrt haben, hat sich der Präsident von Gearboxsoftware, Randy Pitchfort zu diesem Thema zu Wort gemeldet:
