Gandibá #279 És én mit szóljak a 700as cerkámmal? -
#278 Jó én is mondtam hogy 4200+ AMD-m és 9900prom ban el is hiszed? -
DePreSsZYo #277 figy Tomper irta hogy AthlonXP 3700+-n Radeon9800XT -vel szaggat akkor mit akarunk?
Nem tom...szerintem nincs minden embernek ilyen gépe.
De 1 letöltést megér.
Lagparty RulZZ -
#276 Teljes mértékben egyetértek!! -
#273 Valaki megtalálta már a neten a bétát? -
Gandibá #272 Köszi. -
#271 nemkizárt, de a valós képek alapján szerintem nemnagyon illik be a sorba. -
Gandibá #263 Mikor jelenik meg a game? -
#262 ez a FarCry????!!! ;)
Milyen konfigon?! -
#261 az lehet, de ez nem az a topic :) -
#260 legalabbis szerintem azok jobban neztek ki ezeknel a kepeknel. -
#259 szoval ugy nez ki,hogy a videok/kepek amik megjelentek a jatekbol azok nemteljesen ingame kepek voltak -
#258 csak be lett keverve a Stalker. -
#257 1-2 "enyemi" !
+ 1 buggy !
-
#254 mármint a FarCry ? -

#249 *** INTRODUCTION ***
Welcome to Far Cry™ Multiplayer (MP) beta.
Far Cry Multiplayer brings together the Far Cry universe of tropical beaches, jungle islands, and lush paradise environments with a new focus on tactical teamwork and strategic long-range gameplay.
The game offers 3 modes of play.
- FFA - "Free For ALL"
FFA mode encompasses traditional deathmatch mode that most players are familiar with. Players fight each other in an "all against all" game set in lush tropical environments. Weapons are scattered throughout the maps and the highest score wins. Players do not start with armor, but can pick it up to get an advantage over other players.
- TDM - "Team DeathMatch"
Team Deathmatch, as its name implies, is team based deathmatch. As with FFA, players attempt to get the most kills but the game is split into two teams, red and blue. Both FFA and TDM modes contain binocular pickups that allow the user to tag and track players when using them, however you cannot shoot during this time.
- ASSAULT - "Objective Assault"
Assault mode is a tactical team based game in which two teams, attackers and defenders, fight to capture or defend a series of objective points in the level. Assault is the only class based mode in the game that uses specific skills of the classes to help either team complete their objectives. Attacking players must infiltrate the objective base and capture the flag. If all capture points are taken in this time, the attackers win. If the defenders hold the attackers back until the timer runs out, they are the winners.
Each capture point can be reinforced with defensive structures buildable by the support class.
In assault there are 3 classes to choose from:
- Grunt
The grunt class has the most powerful weapons and the largest amount of armor. Although slower moving than other classes, the grunt can generally last longer in firefights and has a close to medium range in combat. The grunt has a selection of weapons including the OICW, AG36, M249 SAW, P90 and Shotgun.
- Support
The support class provides help to other classes and the ability to build friendly defensive structures and destroy enemy defensives. He is equipped with a number of powerful explosives (detpacks) used to destroy defenses, a wrench to construct new or repair defences in friendly bases. He also carries medpacks that can be dropped to heal himself or other units. The support class has the option to replace medpacks with a silenced MP5 and carries an M4 assault rifle. The support class is the fastest moving of all the classes.
- Sniper (long range class)
Ideally suited for long range combat, the sniper class can carry either the AW50 sniper rifle, or the Rocket Launcher. The sniper has very little armor due to his far proximity from enemies but has very powerful weapons that can take an enemy down in 1 or 2 hits.
*** MAPS AVAILABLE ***
There will be 3 maps available for MP Beta.
- mp_radio [FFA/TDM]
A small radio outpost on one of the outlying islands hosts this deathmatch game. Ideally suited for 6-12 players, radio is a compact and fast paced level designed for smaller games.
- mp_monkeybay [FFA/TDM]
This map has a large stone monkey. It is called monkeybay. The monkey is big.
Monkeybay is ideally suited for 12-16 players due to its large size. The level contains a number of boats to traverse the island waters and commands large view distances - ideal for snipers.
- mp_airstrip [ASSAULT]
Airstrip, as the name implies, contains an airstrip set deep in the jungle. Attackers must capture the radio tower, airstrip and helicopter pad within the time to win the game. Battle scars from this heavily disputed area are all around. Best suited for 12-16 players.
*** REQUIREMENTS ***
You must meet these requirements to ensure a reasonable gaming experience for MP Beta.
- Recommended specs:
o P4 1.7 Ghz
o 512 MB RAM
o GeForce 4 / Radeon 9x00 Pro series based cards or higher (no GeForce 4 MX support)
o 500 MB of free hard disk space (+ Windows swap file space)
o Windows 2000/XP support only
Note: the final hardware, software and operating system requirements may differ when Far Cry ships.
- Driver requirements:
o DirectX 9.0b must be installed
o Nvidia based cards must have: ForceWare drivers 53.03
o ATI based cards must have: Catalyst drivers 3.9
- LAN/Internet requirements:
o 384 Kbps downstream / 64 Kbps upstream for playing as a client
o 1 Mbps downstream / 1 Mbps upstream for hosting a game for 16 players
*** ASSUMPTIONS ***
- All players should have an Ubi.com account already created.
- All players should receive a CD-Key to participate in this beta.
- Do not run any background applications while running Far Cry. This game is very CPU intensive, and any background application will degrade your game experience; e.g. Anti-Virus, Instant Messaging Clients, File Sharing programs, etc.
*** QUICK START ***
- Double click on FarCryBetav1.exe
- Enter a drive and directory name to install the game into.
- Double click on the FarCry.exe in the directory you installed the game.
- Click on Multiplayer on Main Menu.
- Click on the Internet Tab.
- Enter your Ubi.com login name.
- Enter your Ubi.com password.
- Enter CD Key provided to you. You cannot use Caps Lock here, you must use Shift key for each capital letter you want to enter. This is a known bug that will be fixed in Patch 1.
- Click on server you want to join.
- Click on Join.
- When level is loaded, you can press escape key to switch from Limbo Screen and in-game. The limbo screen allows you to pick team, classes and weapons you want to use.
*** PLAYING NOTES ***
- Support class can build defenses with their wrench at specially marked places. These are signified with a box with a blueprint on top which state what can be built.
- Support classes can repair defenses by using the wrench on a blown up object. Look for the wrench symbol where possible to identify repairable defenses.
- The following weapons have alternate fire modes (use “x” key to switch): OICW (explosive shells), AG36 (grenade launcher), M4 (single shot), MP5 (single shot)
- Binoculars can be used to tag enemy targets to see them on radar. Once tagged, they will always show up on radar until they die. You can’t use binoculars while shooting.
- Grenades, Smoke Grenades, and rocks can be thrown. Use the “h” key to switch between them. Grunts carry grenades, Support & Sniper classes carry Smoke Grenades
- Pressing space bar to hold your breath and/or going prone (use “v” key) with a sniper rifle (AW50) will increase your accuracy by having less wobble and a bit more zoom.

*** KNOWN PROBLEMS ***
The following is a short list of very noticeable known problems. We will update the News and Announcement sections of the beta forums with a more thorough list of known problems, so you don't need to report them redundantly.
The following are problems we plan to fix in the first beta patch [bug # for tracking purposes]:
- [3711] Caps lock must be disabled when entering CD Key. Work around for now: You must use Shift for every capital letter that needs to be typed in.
- [3907] Sometimes you cannot capture an objective.
- [3914] Vehicles may not work after a while, or have wrong spawn locations. You may see the model, and even a message to press use key to enter it, but nothing will happen.
- [4036] During loading screen and in console mode, there are a lot of error messages (e.g. Screen demoloop cannot be found), warnings (things are printed for log verbosity 1 when it shouldn't be), etc. The amount of messages that appear will be reduced in the next patch.
- [4037] When the map changes, there will be weird behavior that may appear as a large lag; e.g. you can't seem to pick up weapons or ammo, HUD radar shows target as white. This is normal and may be improved in the next patch.
- [4038] Pressing weapon fire button to respawn may inadvertently fire your pistol as you respawn. This will break your invulnerability.
- [4039] Particle effects and weapon firing trails may seem permanently in the level.
- [4040] When you press any weapon fire button, and when the actual weapon is fired is based on round trip delay between client and server. This may seem very laggy to some players.
- [4041] Running on Low Video options will not allow you to see sniper flares. Work around for now: Play with Medium or higher Video options.
- [4042] OICW will sometimes stop firing during which time the firing sound will play but tracers, animation and muzzle flashes will not play.
- [4043] Sometimes switching zooms in sniper based weapons with mouse wheel will sometimes change weapons instead.
- [1335] When you have one bullet left in your weapon, firing it will sometimes not actually shoot a bullet.
- [3699] When setting up a LAN server and it has access to the open Internet, it will attempt to advertise it on the Ubi.com Game Service. All these servers will show up grayed out, as they are unreachable by all clients except those on the same LAN.
- [1874] Flashbangs do not always affect the player correctly.
- [3124] Drivers HUD sometimes disappears after exiting vehicle.
- [3941] If the server (during game) tries to change the number of players (using the console and the command sv_maxplayers and enters a number smaller than the players that are in the game) the game crashes. Work around for now: Don't change number of players once a server is started.
- [3279] [3521] Typing connect or reconnect on console will cause the game to disconnect and the message “Invalid Ubi CD-Key” appears. Work around for now: don't use this command.
- [3585] Sometimes the water background sound becomes permanent even when you're not near water.
- [3668] Players can't see what classes everyone is when pressing tab key.
- [3649] If the user drops an explosive charge next to a destroyable building and the user is killed before the charge detonates, when the charge explodes it inflicts no damage to the building.
- [4049] It’s hard to walk over dead bodies.
