#6067 General: Trez wants Capocannoniere crown
Posted By Marty - Thursday, January 05, 2006
Juventus striker David Trezeguet wants to end the current campaign as the Serie A top scorer.
The Frenchman is currently second in the standings thanks to his 15 goals so far and is just one shy of Fiorentina’s Luca Toni.
"This year will be one full of great objectives for the team and for myself," the former Monaco man said on Wednesday.
"I personally want to win the Capocannoniere crown and seeing as Toni only has 16 to his name, I will give it a go."
Trezeguet, who netted his 100th goal for the Old Lady earlier this season, added that he wants to break a few more records before the summer.
"It would be nice to get to 125 which would allow me to become the most prolific foreigner to play for Juventus," he added.
"I also want to score in 11 consecutive games to equal the record set by Gabriel Batistuta, my idol."
Trezeguet is close to that particular landmark as the deadly finisher has scored in each of the last nine Serie A games.
The 28-year-old also highlighted his desire to leave his mark at the World Cup Finals after France’s nightmare in 2002.
"We won the trophy in 1998 when we were not favourites, while we were fancied in 2002 and we went out at the first stage," he said.
"Therefore, it will be a good thing if we are not one of the front runners this year…"

Transfer: Sagnol to snub Juventus offer
Posted By Marty - Tuesday, January 03, 2006
Juventus target Willy Sagnol has reportedly turned down a move to Turin in favour of staying at Bayern Munich.
It was widely expected that the defender would arrive at the Stadio Delle Alpi in the summer on a free transfer.
However, reports in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung newspaper have insisted that the Frenchman has now decided to stay with the German giants.
The international, formerly of Saint-Etienne, is said to have signed an extension with the side until 2010.
Bayern have refused to comment on the speculation but would be delighted to keep hold of the 28-year-old.
Bayern chief Karl Heinz Rummenigge will be particularly pleased to pip Juventus to the player after he openly criticised their market behaviour last month.
Sagnol has been in Bavaria since 2000 during which time he has won the Champions League, four Bundesliga titles and three German Cups.
The Old Lady of Italian football will now have to reassess their transfer strategy if Sagnol has in fact extended his present agreement.
They were ready to sell Jonathan Zebina, another free capture, but may decide to reconsider that option.
Meanwhile, other reports today suggest that Juventus are keen on signing Bayern Munich captain Michael Ballack.
The German international midfielder, who is also wanted by a host of European clubs including Inter, is available on a Bosman at the end of the season.

General: Juve lose injured Kovac
Posted By Marty - Tuesday, January 03, 2006
Juventus defender Robert Kovac has been ruled out for the next month because of a knee injury.
The summer signing from Bayern Munich will be sidelined for four weeks after damaging a ligament in training.
Kovac, a free capture from the German giants, has impressed on the occasions when he has replaced Lilian Thuram or Fabio Cannavaro in the centre.
Juve boss Fabio Capello already had a few defensive worries ahead of Saturday’s trip to Palermo.
Gianluca Zambrotta is suspended and will therefore need replacing in the right-back role for the Stadio Barbera clash.
Capello will opt for Gianluca Pessotto or decide to use midfielder Manuele Blasi, linked with a move to Palermo, as full-back.
Cannavaro and Thuram will start in the centre, while Under-21 international Giorgio Chiellini will begin at left-back.

Transfer: Zebina set for exit, says agent
Posted By Marty - Tuesday, January 03, 2006
Jonathan Zebina will leave Italian champions Juventus in January, his agent has confirmed.
The international, who only arrived at the Stadio Delle Alpi in the summer of 2004, will move on after his relationship with the outfit collapsed.
"The Frenchman will change shirts because he does have problems with Juventus," Franco Zavaglia stated.
Zebina, who has missed most of this season with injury, is alleged to have clashed with the hierarchy after asking for a pay rise.
That request was not welcomed by the Turin giants who are ready to dispose of him within the next month.
The right-back has numerous options available to him with Milan and Liverpool in pole position to sign him.
He could move to the Rossoneri in a deal which sees Christian Abbiati’s loan contract turned into a permanent one.
Milan do need a right-back too as Jaap Stam and Marcos Cafu are likely to leave the club at the end of the current campaign.
Juventus will therefore continue to use Gianluca Zambrotta on the right until Willy Sagnol arrives on a free from Bayern Munich in the summer.

General: New deal for Del Piero?
Posted By Marty - Tuesday, January 03, 2006
Juventus are ready to offer Alessandro Del Piero a new contract, according to whispers in the peninsula.
The club are intent on keeping the symbol until he hangs up his boots by offering him a deal which will see him take on a directorship position once he does retire.
Although Del Piero is no longer guaranteed a starting shirt in Turin, the Old Lady are prepared to offer him an extension until 2010.
Reports in Italy suggest that the club’s triad of Luciano Moggi, Antonio Giraudo and Roberto Bettega came up with the plan.
The move would be seen by many as reward for a player who has won 14 major honours since his move from Padova in 1993.
Del Piero, who has been recently linked with a shock move to Arsenal, may be tempted by the proposal seeing as his present deal runs until 2008.
The opportunity to remain at a club who adore him would also be a major factor for the now 31-year-old.
Del Piero has also recently installed himself in the club’s history books by joining Giampiero Boniperti as the outfit’s record scorer with 182 goals.
Should Del Piero accept, there is talk that he could become the outfit’s Vice-President along with Roberto Bettega when he does bring his illustrious career to an end.

General: Cannavaro: “Never give up”
Posted By swag - Saturday, December 31, 2005
“2005 has been a fantastic year, with us being always on top; we’ve won the title, important players have signed for us and we’ve started well this new season too. It couldn’t go better…”.
Fabio Cannavaro will remember 2005 for a long time; it’s been a year that has made Juventus achieve important targets but that also brought the defender much personal satisfaction: “In comparison to last season, this time we did not have to play Champions League qualifying rounds and this has allowed us to keep a high pace until Christmas.
It’s been a wonderful year for me: I’ve won my first Scudetto which I had been expecting for a long time, and not only that: I’ve played every match, in the Italian league, in Champions League and with Italy, I’ve had no injury, had very few yellow cards and managed to keep a good continuity in my performance. Has it been my best year? Well, I’ve won the title and also it had never happened before that I could finish a season without missing a match and then start the new one still playing every match. Luckily I can train well and everything follows as a consequence of that.”
When he’s asked who is the player that has impressed him the most during the whole year, Fabio has no doubt: “Ibrahimovic: an extraordinary talent. Zlatan experiences football unlike the others. He has fun in searching for the spectacular play or dribbling the opponents. He may not always succeed in doing so but players like him must be given the freedom to invent.”
To keep on winning in 2006, his goals will come in handy: “We have a good attack, with players like David and Alex who score often. Undoubtedly, 2006 is going to be very hectic, with the Italian league, Champions League and the World Cup. Should I choose a target I would go for Champions League: our fans expect that and we just want to win the tournament.”
This Juventus will still be the team to beat next year? “Figures say so now, but the past has taught us that it takes a little to lose an eight-point advantage in the championship or get off from the Champions League.
Last year, it took us the first twenty minutes played in Liverpool: that was not the real Juventus and being sent off was the only negative thing in the whole season. We’re getting ready to face the new year being aware that we’re going to meet fierce opponents. I’m thinking of Milan and Inter but also of Fiorentina who are a very good side and who can be dangerous as they are not playing in other tournaments. There’s only one thing to do: never give up and face every single match like we’ve done during the past year”

#6066 Igen Roberto Baggiohoz hasonlítják
23 éves és a Barcelonat is érdekli
Spanyol útlevele van.
-
#6065 A Juventus vezetői argentínába utaznak , hogy ajánlatot tegyenek a Boca Junior fiatal játékosára Rodrigo Palacio-ra. A vezérkar minél előbb olaszföldön akarja tudni a játékost, ezért 3,5 millió fontal emelte az ajánlatát. Hogy Palacio felvegye a serie A ritmusát , tavaszra kölcsön adnák a Chievo-nak.
ez igaz lehet??? -
#6064 :DDDDDDDDDDDD -
#6063 de merész vki távol a Palermo topiktól -
#6062 szombaton végetek a Renzo Barberában
-
#6057 Andrea Barzaglira 20 milla árat (fontban persze) állapított meg Zamparini -
#6056 szezon végéig kölcsönadta a Cagliarinak -
#6054 A Juve szeretné megszerezni Rio Ferdinandot, a MU védőjét. -
A középpályára a spanyol Joaquín Fabio Capello álma, akit Nedved utódjának szánnak a Delle Alpiban.
Joaquínért cserébe akár Marcelo Zalayetát is megkaphatja a Betis némi készpénzzel karöltve!
Most lehetősége nyílna visszatérni korábbi állomáshelyére - igaz, most a Betis lenne a kenyéradója... -
