As far as i know, I am betting that the current game play status will be lost once the beta goes to the final / gold release. However, I might be wrong.

a probléma:
"Having just reinstalled Windows again yesterday I'm now unable to activate the beta - I'm given an error message stating that its been activated on too many computers. And yet its only been activated on this one (although in 3 instances of Windows over the last few weeks).
Is there any way I can request an additional unlock, or is there someone to email with regards to it?"

"For the beta, we are limited to two installation for security purposes since we do not have a game cd/dvd. The retail game will not have this restriction.

I have been in the business of simulation racing for 6 years,..I stood on the Track at Spa Belgium as the data was being collected for GTR2/GTL.
I introduced TrackIR headtracking technology to all of those who make the greatest racing simulations,..and got it built in.
I showed GTR/GR2/and GTL to US audiences for the first time at the past 2 E3's on a racing simulator called the VRX.
I orchestrated the press day at Ford headquarters in Deerborne, by convincing the top licensing guy with Ford to go with TDU,..and not the Need for speed crap.
Tonight,..I finally got my chance to test this beta. I work for a new company now, and we make the finest racing simulator in the world. www.virtual-gt.com
Tonight my entire scope of the industry has forever changed.
I clutched and shifted my way around the game for about 3 hours,..and what I experienced is every car lovers dream. For the complainers,..please do your best not to sweat the small stuff. Like feeling that your favorite car is too slow. What you are driving is a feat of technology,..one that has sent shockwaves thru the industry,..ever wonder why Forza got pushed back?,..cockpits. TDU as we know it today,..is only a taste of whats to come from Eden.
Bottom line,..
you have not yet experienced this game unless you have a G25 logitech wheel,..if you are using a controller,..dont even comment on the hardcore settings,.they are not for you. your little trigger doesent have the travel that a pedal has,..and you can not possibly have the precision to make it stick.
IF you truly love the idea of driving in this open environment,..your world will never look the same the moment you hook up a TrackIR4 pro from naturalpoint. You are blind at every intersection, every hairpin,..TIR allows you to see all the way thru the corner, the competition around you, the cockpits, that hot chick from the mercedes dealership during a test drive, amazing scenery around the island,..and most importantly,..rubbernecking,.thats the best. It is easily the best $200 dollars you can spend for your driving dreams.
The next installment of TDU will have some TIR advancements,..if I have to go to NY myself and beg...
Imagine being able to look over at the driver next to you,..and your character in-game is actually turning his/her head. imagine having everyone see you bang your head to the music in your car. All thats left is a flip the bird button.
Dont even get me started on the possibilities for the bikes,..6 degrees of freedom motion tracking?,..its going to be sick.
My customers are going to completely freak out when we send out our next quarterly software update,..this game has changed everything for me and my company.
Congrats Eden/Atari on the most revolutionary racing title since Gran Turismo.
