Sajnos nekem is ez volt az elsõ benyomásom, de nem hagyom, hogy ez döntsön a játék megítélésében!

Arxel Tribe is proud to announce that the upcoming adventure RPG MISTMARE has reached Release Candidate status.

The game is now entering the last phase of tests and shall reach final manufacturing green light before then end of February. Release of MISTMARE throughout the world is therefore scheduled for the end of March 2003.

Developed on Lithtech's JUPITER engine (NOLF2) by Sinister Systems and Arxel Tribe, MISTMARE features a solid scenario, splendid graphics and more than 60 hours of gameplay.

Pedig van egy pár hozzászólása,évek óta a fórumon.
Mindegy,ill. nem,de azért halljuk azt a gratuláciot:)

Azért egy kicsit érdekeljen mennyire sikeres.Nem tudok,csak a Gothic-al elõjönni-ismét.Azért jön a 2. rész mert végül(a kis marketing ellenére) sikeres lett az elsõ.Ha nagyon tetszik majd a Mistmare,talán szeretnél 2. részt is,egyáltalán nem biztos,hogy a történelem megismétli Önmagát,és megfelelõ reklámok nélkül is híres lesz.Szóval szurkoljunk,hogy jó legyen,sokan meg akarják ismerni,és meg is ismerjék(elõre is köszi Bronzon)máskülönben majd mi terjesztjük a druidák igéit.

Ha már szóba jött Detori barátom,kérek mindenkit gratuláljon neki,mert megvan a 2. diplomája.Kicsit szégyenlõs és nem fogja elárulni nektek mibõl szerezte,de megérdemli,mert nagyon sokat küzdött érte.

Emlékeztek a Gothicra?Ott aztán semmi hírverés nem volt,mégis életem egyik legjobb(BG2 után)játékának mondom,és nemcsak én.Egy kollégám,aki itt a fórum oldalain is sokszor elõfordul(nevezetesen Detori) kb. 3 hónapja fejezte be a Gothicot,s õ is isteníti.Õszintén,ha a Mistmare fele olyan jó lesz,már örülök.

De, várjuk szépen Bronzon ajándékát a magyar mûkedevlõknek,jóra számítok.Majd ez hoz egy kis népszerûséget-legalábbis M.o.-on.

Különösebben nem érdekel, ha nem lesz nagy fanatic tábora a játéknak, nekem tökéletesen elég lesz annyi, hogy nekem tetszen a játék, aztán, hogy más nem hall róla, az már nem az Én problémám.

Hát remélem, hogy jó lesz a játék, mert a reklámra nem sokat költenek a fiúk, az már biztos. Sehol egy video, ehol egy demo, csak a full játékkal törõdnek. Lehet, hogy ez a jó megoldás, vagy csak azért nincsen egyik sem, mert nem is olyan jó a játék? Remélem az a verzióm az igaz, amiben az van, hogy azért nincs reklám, hogy minden energiájukkal, a full game elkészítésén fáradoznak.

Én is ezt írtam a kinti fórumon.Bár a Gothicot már végignyomtam,egy hibát találtam benne...nem megeröltetõ a vége.Itt garantálják,hogy minden más rendszerû lesz.
Egyébként odáig fajultam,hogy felhívtam az egyik fejlesztõt(munkahelyi áldás,hogy megtehetem)szerinte teljesen kész a játék,és csak a jogi viták miatt nem jelent még meg.Ja,nagy meglepetésemre az egész stáb szlovén.Minden ott készül.

Jól esett a beírásod a fórumon. Ja, még ne szólj a... izérõl, tudod na. Majd meglepetés lesz. Még a többiek sem tudnak róla. Cserébe ha kész lesz, küldök egy emilt.

Nekem pc-n rpg-k közül legutóbb a Morrowind jött be, de az nagyon! Úgy látom, itt az új üdvöske. Várom szeretettel.

Na, rossz hírem van!
Belenéztem a hivatalos oldal fórumába, és a következõt találtam: A megjelenés bizonytalan státuszra változott ui. kiadót találtak a gamenak de az pár változtatáshoz köti a megjelentetését és azt pedig még nem lehet tudni, hogy azokkal mikor lesznek kész. A demo már rég kész de megjelentetése szintén a kiadó stratégiai döntésén múlik. Elképzelhetõ az is, hogy nem lesz.

Már én is nagyon vártam a demot, de az Rpgdot-on volt egy hír miszerint a menedzsment megakadályozta üzleti szempontok miatt a kiadasat.
Egyébként volt egy kiadási idõpontot megjelenítõ visszaszámláló a honlapon, de most már nincs meg. Pedig már csak 2 hét volt rajta hátra.

A lényeg::::
Kaptam egy levelet az egyik fejlesztõtõl(ez aztán a törõdés)Állítása szerint 1 hét és itt a demo(Már rég megvan,nem értik miért nem adják ki)

Az egyház elkezd nyomozni a mágia világába vezetõ nyomok után.Mikor egyre több tudással rendelkeznek,és saját maguk is varázshasználók lesznek,megjelennek a druidák,akik magukkal hozzák a ködöt.Sajnos az hogy ezt leírtam,nem segít azon a megtervezett íráson amit a történet leír.

Mert bár tanultam, vagy akartak tanítani nekem angolt, de ezt egyszer elolvastam, és nem sokat értettem meg. Egyébként király játék lesz ez, csak hát ki tudja mikor.

World History

(1290 - 1313) The birth of LithurgicaUnder the Pope's patronage, a group of scholars is formed secretly within the Church, to discover the true facts on sorcery and magic. The group has access to the most protected Vatican archives, enabling them to study even the oldest early-christian and pre-christian manuscripts. (1313) The first theory on LithurgicaBrasio Accantasan, a High Cardinal in lead of the aforementioned group of scholars, concludes the key manuscript on the theory of Lithurgica, also known as lithurgic magic. In the manuscript, titled "The Lecture on Triple Nature of Earth: The Influence of Spiritual Spheres on The Materia of Life", all the findings of his group are described and explained. Immediately, the highest members of the Church begin an analysis of the text, judging its conformance with the holy dogma.(1320 - 1330) The Exchange of PopesThe High Comitee declares the manuscript being incompatible with the dogma. The Pope yields under the pressure, and a massive persecution of Lithurgica scholars is at hand. The scholars, who on the other hand secretly reached beyond the mere theory, use their newly acquired abilities to remove the Pope and the high council. Cardinal Accantasan becomes the new Pope, whose first step is to move the Holy Seat back to Rome. Scholars search for the true accordance between the new theory and the dogma, and the golden age of interpretations begins.(1330 - 1340) The LinkAfter years of lithurgical research, taking place in various Church institutes in Europe, the Church connects all the important cathedrals of the Old World into a system of Lithurgica resonance. The system, called 'The Link', is powerful enough to enable wireless instantaneous communication across Europe, and continent-wide spell casting. It is also a platform for research on weather control and healing magic.(1349) The Black DeathA plague epidemics spreads across the continent, mercilessly rendering whole villages and towns lifeless. The Church frantically tries to research the possibilities of using Lithurgica to control the spread of disease.(1349) The Druid revival in AngliaThe druids, working under cover for centuries, reveal themselves to the public, spreading belief that the plague is the punishment installed by the old, abandoned gods. A sudden, unexplained retreat of the disease increases the political power of the druids. The inhabitants of British islands are raised into a riot against the Roman Church, whose temples in Scotland and Ireland are burnt to the ground. In England, though, the angry mob casts the bell of the London Link cathedral into the Thames. The last message to arrive in Rome is: "we are under attack." The Link is now broken, horrifying the church as it loses influence and magical power. A rescue army is sent to London immediately by Vatican, but it never returns, nor is it heard of again.(1349) Fog over EuropeReports arrive from all over Europe, indicating a fog-like mist is forming over the land, filling alpine valleys and moving towards large cities. The Fog, as it is called, rapidly overwhelms Europe in a couple of weeks, covering all central European countries. Anything the Fog covers turns into badlands, killing every human settler. Anyone venturing into the fog never returns. People, who came close to the fog, report seeing monsters, demons, and beasts materializing around them. Few survive such encounters. With the Link no longer working, the Fog is spreading over the southern part of Europe. It is weaker and less lethal near the big cities hosting the Link cathedrals (Avignon, Rome), but no-one knows why. The Link cathedrals are abandoned, but not destroyed, as ancient remnants of the past.(1350 - 1450) Fighting FogAs the Fog spreads towards the south, the Church prepares an emergency plan of defense. An old lithurgic technique of chiming, a form of Resonant Tolling, originally designed to control the weather, proves as a powerful repelling weapon in pushing the Fog back from the Mediteranean region. A borderline is established, and constant lithurgic tolling is required to keep the Fog at distance. The Fog disturbs and disconnects many well established trade routes and means of communication.(1400-1420) The Byzantine stateIn the middle of 15th century, the powerful Byzantine state surprises the Italian Church by presenting its own Lithurgica. It is not known to the public whether their magical skills were acquired by their own research, by espionage, or perhaps from the defected Church experts, as the latter remains silent. The Byzantine state stretches over today's south Balkans, Greece, Turkey, and Egypt.(1450) The Holy Roman RepublicIn the middle of 15th century, the Fog stretches from the Atlantic Ocean to Siberia. The Italian church wraps up its fight with the Fog by pushing it to a line now defining the north border. Even by using its strongest spells, cast using Resonant Tolling, this new equilibrium cannot be disrupted. The Church completes its political reformation, and then apparently subsides in the background. Its real influence, however, becomes stronger through time, exerting pressure through its covert operations. The public believes that feudal reign is supreme and unobstructed, with the Church providing only pastoral, lithurgic, and theological services. The Church establishes four prime monk orders to research the Basic truth, the connection between Christian dogma and Lithurgica. At the north border, the Church remains important in its defense role, perfecting their skills of the Tolling in the Church sorcery labs. The big city cathedrals become independent units, led by the most competent cardinals. The Apenine peninsula and what has remained of southern France and eastern Spain becomes a single state, the Holy Roman Republic; in its antique tradition ruled by the Senate, comprised of local feudal lords (barons) and citizen nobles.(17th century) The fall of ByzantiumAfter the fall of Byzantium into Osman hands, the Roman Church has no other Christian opposition in Europe. The Moors conquer Byzantine North African territories. The Roman Church establishes its secret service, the Inquisition, and no longer hides its political ambitions. Using its powers, based on lithurgic knowledge, it controls official rulers. Using large donations from the ruling class, the Church is able to establish its own mercenary army, used for interventions in various parts of South Europe. All attempts of Spain and Portugal to regain South Spain's Moor-ruled territories fail. The spiritual development in the South fades. The constant threat of Fog and Moors allow for a state of emergency and censorship, there are less free interpretations. All attempts to connect the religious dogma with lithurgic knowledge fail, and the Church starts moving its focus from the spiritual towards material progress.(18th century) Unrest in Europe Social differences widen in South Europe, which is in an economic crisis. Large upheavals result, quickly stopped in their tracks by the army. After the fall of the Byzantine state, the Osman empire starts to display its expansionistic ambitions. On the Balkans and over the Mediterranean Sea, the Osman often attack against the east border. The alliance of the Holy Roman Republic and the remaining Balkan states, led by the Church armies, successfully repels all attacks and re-conquers the territory. Roman Republic secures Greece, extending the Roman state, and is greeted by the local population. In the beginning of 19th century, the Republic and Turkey agree on a permanent, but fragile peace. Substantial disagreements appear between the Moor and Osman states, rendering any long-term alliance against the Republic unthinkable. In the 18th century, a group forms within the Roman Church, which returns to old investigations about the nature and origin of the Fog. In old, pre-christian notes, they find key data, which might have forecasted the forming of Fog. Additional clues, also brought from ancient books, indicate possible changes which might happen at the turn of the millenium. This group is rumoured to spawn several legends, such as the establishment of the sect of Harvesters, which are a supposed group of Fog-fighting lithurgical scholars, and planting of the Prophecy, which lives among people and talks about the end of the terror, produced by the Fog. The lithurgical knowledge of the church increases steadily through the centuries. The level of lore skill available today seemed unattainable a couple of centuries ago.(19th century) World tradeThe Osman empire and the Holy Roman Republic establish trade routes, extending to the Far East. For the first time, Europe is regularly supplied with Oriental goods. Using mountain peaks of the South Europe, the Church establishes a Lithurgica semaphore system for a fast communication between the cities, churches, and monasteries. This is the Churches' first attempt at replacing the Link on a limited scale, using the latest Lithurgica methods.

Elképesztõ mennyire nem ismerik ezt a játékot,pedig forradalmat hoz a játékélmények terén.Mindenkinek tudom ajánlani a történelmi rész elolvasását.Szédületesen megtervezett kis történetnek tûnik.Talán életemben nem vártam még ennyire játékot.

Király, kicsit a Heretic II-re emlékeztet - erõs RPG jelleggel - az pedig igencsak jó volt ...
...ha jól látom hamarosan itt a demo is!

Talán ez lesz az a progi ami forradalmasíthatja a már egy kissé (sokak által-igaz nem általam)unt rpg szabályrendszreket.A grafika elképesztõnek tûnik,az elõre renderelt dolgok is bámulatosnak tûnnek
