Split shared vertices
You can split a shared vertex into multiple vertices-one for each polygonal face that shares it. You can them perform independent operations on the split edges.
To split a vertex
Select the vertices.
The action ignores selected vertices that are not shared.
Select Edit Polygons > Split Vertex.
