INFO on how to remove Activation (IE make the CD a VLK): by Beta-X
Extract the CD to a TEMP dir
Open /I386/setup.ini
You see something like this
ExtraData=707A667567736F696F697911AE7E05
Pid=55034000
Change PID to "51883270"
SAVE
INFO on how to bypass 180 day bomb
Open REGEDIT
Select "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE"
Select FILE: LOAD HIVE
Look for Setupreg.hiv in the /i386 dir of the CD
Then give it the name "REGHIV"
Go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SETUPHIV\ControlSet001\Services\setupdd
and change
(Default) REG BINARY to nothing but "0"'s
Then select HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SETUPHIV\ and choose file:unload HIVE
The HIVE file is now modified.
