"A brand new feature that has been brought into the game is the vital skills of each character. Unlike in the previous game where picking a character did not matter, choosing the right character is vital to a persons skills. If a character has shield bands sticking off his arms then he may use them as shields, if a person has heavy armour (i.e. TMX-1138) they can sit there and laugh at small weapons fire, though they do give up speed and jump range. Also another new feature of the game is the ability to duck and block. Though while blocking a character still receives damage, it is very minor and can be life saving when switching or reloading weapons."
