"Ok, I m here to help all of you in distress, as I had the same problem and fixed it!
So appearantly ac Origins works with 4 surround sound only, so 5.1 or 7.1 are not working. I am not the best technician, but try to search for your headset settings and do either of these 2 things:
1) disable surround sound completely
2) use surround sound with only 4 sides (Left 1, left 2, right 1 and right 2)
I hope I helped some of you with this , as option 2 worked for me :D"
