A question: did they remove the protection completely or did they used an exploit in denuvo ?
If they removed the protection completely, then the crack would include the .exe of the game, because that would need to be modified to get rid of all the Denuvo functions. So no, the CPY crack just emulates Denuvo and patches out any game breaking triggers the devs included should it detect emulation. It does seem possible that future patches might break the crack.
