There is some confusion surrounding the Japanese and international release of the game and we would like to clarify this:
The full functionality and experience of Dark Souls III will not be available for international players until the launch on April 12th. This is due to planned bug fixes and important patches such as online gameplay that will be implemented on client and server side.
