Highlights:
Some of the seasonal content is predetermined, mainly the seasons that tie into new films, but all the other seasons will follow whatever the community is currently asking for.
Seasonal content itself will vary wildly. Some will have a bunch of new heroes and planets (they're clear they will sometimes release more than 2 heroes at times), while others won't have heroes and will instead focus on things like overhauls, new features, and new game modes.
The next patch will add all multiplayer planets to arcade, and all future planets are planned to work with all game modes at launch.
The post launch support team is larger than the team that made all the season pass content for Battlefront 1.
There will be Clone Wars content coming to the game. It sounds like Captain Rex might be one of the heroes, given the developer posts one of Rex's quotes in his response, but that could have just been a joke as well, given there was a Rex hashtag in the question.
There will be a character customization system coming to the game.
New PvE modes are coming where you fight larger scale battles with both vehicles and trooper classes.
There's a new mode that's "a more open, free-flowing large mode like Conquest", but it's not a "direct port" of the Battlefield mode.
Team shuffle and team balancing are coming in, along with balance changes in general.
You will be able to select the era you would like to play multiplayer in in the near future.
There will be returning maps from Battlefront 1.
There will be a variety of UI updates, along with a bunch of toggles like seeing non-holographic mods in the menus.
They're looking into FoV sliders for consoles and more graphics options for PC.
There are more announcers being added.
More flying maps are coming. Some of them will not be in space.
There's a squad system being added (though it will be slightly different).
Private matches are coming back, but it will be a while off, as there's a bunch of features they want to add relative to the Battlefront 1 implementation that they want to have ready before they launch this.
There's a spectator mode coming eventually, but other things are higher priority.
Online co-op for arcade is coming back a la Battlefront 1, but it is a while off still.
There's no planned new story mode content currently, but they're not taking it off the table.
The progression overhaul is coming, but as mentioned previously, they will be unveiling it in March.
Zam Wessel is probably not being added to the game.
They will be doing more AMAs like this in the future.
