I didn't wanna post a new thread for this since its a rumor from someone I have no idea about but according to those in the GTA community the user leaked the last 2 GTA online updates and supposedly works at Rockstar.
Basically: RDR2 focus on single player with all the usual stuff from the previous game including Stranger missions, gang hideouts etc except this time with 3 playable protagonists that are from John's old gang and John not being one of them.
RDR Online will launch after the game is released like GTAV/Online.
