Sony has released its financials for the first quarter of the financial year, revealing the PlayStation 4 continues to exceed all expectations.
3 million consoles were sold in the three month period ending June 30, up from 2.7 million sold in the same window last year. This means lifetime sales for the console now stand at 25.3 million - and it hasn't even been out for two years yet. In contrast, it took the PS2 a comparatively sluggish two years and eight months to hit 20 million units sold.
