"For instance, the only way to turn off the guide-lines is by manually changing your skill level in your profile from novice to master. This will turn off the guide-lines for online play and for offline practice. However, it will not turn off the guidelines for your career mode, as career mode starts you in the "novice" tournaments, which have the guide-lines included by default. In other words, even if you're running the rack every time, and destroying every opponent, you cannot turn off the guide-lines until you play through numerous tournaments."
