Some banks do an Authorization Hold, which is the practice within the banking industry of authorizing electronic transactions done with a debit card or credit card. This practice holds the balance as unavailable either until the merchant clears the transaction or the hold "falls off." When the hold falls off, it renders the amount available again,and will happen anywhere between 1 to 5 days after the transaction date, depending on the bank's policy.

That covers the initial charge that you are talking about. Because you cancelled the recurring subscription, after the 30 days was up you would then have no game time. In order to get more game time, you would have to select a subscription plan again.
As for the charge still being on your account and you have not been refunded, please contact your bank. At this point, that is their issue as the funds are not on our side. Like stated above, the authorization charge prompts the banks to "release" funds and awaits someone (us) to accept it. The problem is, we do not accept it cause it is merely a means of determining whether or not you have a valid form of payment. It is cancelled and the pending funds should drop off in a time given by your bank.
