But it’s based on max magicka not the points you spend. Those 49 points should equate to 490 magicka, but in reality, will only contribute about 200 points. Here is an example of what that can do to your damage:
Let’s say my current Crystal Shards hits for 525 magic damage based on tooltip. If I added 200 more magicka? It would do 552. Do you really think that much is worth losing 980 hit points?"
