The first filled-polygon 3D game was released by Atari in 1983. It was an Arcade game called "I, Robot"

    Here's a wkipedia page about it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I,_Robot_(arcade_game)

However, that's the first commercial game with filled polygons. There were probably filled-polygon games around earlier than that, but I assume they were probably by MIT students and required large computers not available to the public.

The first filled-polygon game for ST that I can think of is "Arcticfox." It first appeared on the market in 1985.
