We have a pro CS player forum for feedback and a bunch of people have given good feedback for CS:GO (mostly Euro CS:S players) including all the big problems (recoil, sounds etc etc) and even suggested how to fix them but it doesn't seem like HPE/Valve are interesting in doing any of it.
I even posted a thread saying it seems like nothing is happening, voiced my concerns etc and all I've gotten is two people replying (pros) "pretty much, game is dead already".
I doubt they are interested in fixing up the game for competitive gaming, they need to keep it bad enough for the console players to also have a chance.
