"P-47 has massive wings to support it's weight while the Dora has small stubby wings in it's pursuit for speed, as a result, the P-47 has a slightly lower (empty) wingloading, ~160kg/m2 vs ~170kg/m2. If both fully loaded with fuel the P-47 would be substantially heavier than the Dora because it had bigger fuel tanks which gave it ~50% more range than the Dora (I guess that ridiculous looking fat fuselage is good for something)
But in this game where we mostly just pick 20 or 30 minute fuel, it makes sense for the P-47 to turn as well or slightly better than the Dora when carrying similar amounts of fuel"
