Fix for the the Social Club users
If you downloaded GTA 5 over the Social Club and you face the error message Grand Theft Auto V Exited Unexpectedly, then the following should help you to fix this.
Open the Windows Explorer and go into the game directory.
Create a shortcut file of your GTAVLauncher and save it.
Rightclick and open the “Properties”.
In the Target box you have to add “-verify”, like “C:/ProgramFiles/RockStarGames/GTAVLauncher.exe” “-verify”
Save it and start GTA 5 over the shortcut.
This will verify the game files and download any corupted files.
Hope this helps. In our case this little start param resolved the issue and saved us the day.
