Volt egy elöadás egy egyetemen ahol meghivták Gabe-et, sok mindenröl volt szo, föleg a Valve sikerességéröl, de volt egy érdekes kérdés:
"Someone asked Gabe if there would ever be public matchmaking stats in Dota 2 and why they "shut down" Dotabuff. He responded that, yes, Valve will provide public matchmaking stats, but NOT until they get their matchmaking just right. He said the reason it isn't public now is because they made the current system when they were relatively new and "stupid at it" and that he doesn't want people basing their skill levels off it yet. Since Dotabuff uses the same sort of system that Valve has now, he didn't think it was accurate or informative, hence the implemented privacy settings."
