    Number of polygons has nothing to do with resolution. You can run a PC game at 2 different resolutions with the same number of polygons, but the higher resolution will force more pixels to be updated on the screen every frame. That's more work for the video card (and why video card benchmarks always show a decrease in performance as you increase the resolution).
    I can't say whether the Android is maintaining its native resolution here, but if it is, the resolution argument is valid."
