A DCS World megszületésével a DCS sorozat egyetlen közös magra építve, egy felületről lesz elérhető. Az eddig egyenként telepíthető DCS részek helyett egyetlen közös felületről lesz elérhető, így sokkal könnyebben lehet váltani az egyes kiegészítők között, egyszerűbb és könnyebb lesz a frissítés is. A DCS World folyamatos frissítésekkel, a grafikus rendszer, az AI egységek, AI logika, effektek, stb. együtt fejlődik. Minden ami a szimuláción kívüli repülhető gép, térkép vagy más fizetős tartalom. A jelenlegi DCS World még béta verziós, nem végleges. Az első kiadás ingyen tartalmazza a Flaming Cliffs 2-ből származó repülhető Szuhoj Szu-25T Frogfoot típust.(THX by Sanyo)

A BMS4 fórumot írták a DCS-ről és ED-ről...
Some ppl are paying for this ... then ppl cry afterwards. Honestly ... pathetic.
You can continue to ignore or deny it ... but I personally see more and more and more ppl (some were fan boy from the first day) going furious against ED development orientation, commercial strategy ... and communication.
Sure ... not on ED forum because moderation is even more radical than here (on ED forum, posts are literally suppressed, thread deleted), but I know a 3rd party dev who worked on a famous DCS mod (he do not want me to tell which one) and he told me how it is inside and how some dev do not cares about customers , he left the team because so disappointed about ED release "strategy" and how DCS updates are breaking stuff without any possibilities to test 3rd party mods before proper update releases (sounding like : throw it like this and see what happens, anyway, we do not care if it breaks stuff on 3rd party modules this is not our problem) no coordination ... well ... he described me like he he were in hell.
And what we see => Trains and GPS ... this is seriously pathetic, even if I can imagine why and where this GPS comes from. But I can understand ppl going crazy when watching this kind of stuff.
I do not what to talk too much about it ... but honestly ... it is somehow laughable. And you know what ... it was expected. Read again my comments about payware missiles and fuel ... step by step ... Meet you there in few month/years. I bet we will see more and more stuff like this ... and still not critical flaws seriously addressed.
And hey ... I've made a good advertisement for this GPS add-on here! ... Sure some ppl will be happy about it and the others are not obliged to buy it ... sure ... but try to imagine what can be the side effect of this kind of stuff! ... HOW do you expect some customers does not get crazy!? I am a very light customer, and I am going crazy!
Now the situation has become so bad that I can't even so read any single thread on external DCS french forum where ppl do not seriously complains about something. (and I still think that the situation is because customer's behavior ... it is their fault.)
You can kill me now @ 5 (amectree, UncookedMeatloaf, and friends) vs 1 ... but this is just what I think (and see).
