Startrekben is bepróbálkoztak a fighterekkel, de ott sem tudták soha megmagyarázni, hogy minek kellenek.
Egyik legjobb rész a DS9-ban pl:
"Attack Fighters! Tactical pattern theta. Concentrate your fire on the Cardassian ships, and then split off in to squadrons, and run like hell!"
Ugyanakkor ez is mutatja, hogy kurvára értelmetlenek :)
