Bur, as I said, that chipset really limits how well & how long it can run these games well. They often do ok with the base game along, but once you add an EP, it really puts a strain on them.

Its just amazing, if you read across the internet, you'll find thousands for people with these freeze ups. Your told oh, its your hardware, even though your vidcard is on the list it shouldnt be. That's a lame answer. There is a problem with coding or the AI. If the problem was in the video care EVERYTHING would slow down or freeze, not just the sim. Actually its NOT the sim that freezes, its the clock. ALL TIME STOPS, but since the trees, music, water, smoke, etc are not based on coding that does not go along with the time, they keep moving. If its the vidcard, they would stop as well. So exactly that is the problem? There are multiple people that have been complaining about this problem ESPECIALLY with world adventure, normally with China. (but not always)
Now before someone pipes in with your posting to an old thread, let me chime in.. I KNOW BUT I STILL HAVE THE PROBLEM.
Now before you tell ME to post my DXDIAG I will tell you, I am a computer technician, been working on them since the trash80, if you dont know what that is, its because it was out before you were born. I have a vista machine, it has a 2.4 P4 or equivalent, it has more than 1.5 gb ram, it has a 128mb or better vidcard (GTX 260 with current updated drives I check them every week) it has service pack 1, it has over 6.1gb of hard drive space, and way more than 1gb of addition space for custom content and saved games. Matter of fact over half my 500gb hard drive is free. Will I post my DXDIAG.. uh no.. I wont, you'll just find some nitpick thing to try and blame it on. Why dont you guys fix the problem instead of passing the buck? I'm sorry am I venting? YES we pay a lot of money for this game, and the **** thing should work.
