In order to take 9Dragons to open beta, we have to wipe all characters. Yes, it's a pain, and yes, we know how much time and love you have poured into these characters. But we have to wipe them to prevent several major bugs from transferring into the final game.
However, the good news is that, barring a major technical problem, this will be the only wipe that we need to do. So from when we reopen after closed beta you can build your characters safe in the knowledge that they will not need to be wiped again.
So what is the schedule?
On Thursday 21st December at 23.59 BST (British standard time) we will be shutting the game down, wiping all characters and preparing the game for the next stage of beta.
We will then re-open the game at 09.00 BST on Friday 22nd December. From this point on we do not expect to have to wipe characters again. So you can play throughout the Christmas holidays safe in the knowledge that your characters won't be wiped.
