    Hey All,

    It is troublesome to see the amount of negativity in the forums. I thought that I made it very clear that issues would pop up and that the servers and client would not be stable immediately once the game is up.

    Just to be clear: YOU SHOULD EXPECT LOTS OF RANDOM ISSUES FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS AND POSSIBLY LONGER

    Do you all really expect everything to be perfect the day after the launch of the game? If you do, and you come to the forums and post anything negative, you will certainly be suspended at the very least.

    This is the FIRST full day of live service. THE FIRST DAY! I cannot for the life of me understand the mentality of people that are raging at issues on the first day of live service. Reporting the issues? Please do, it is appreciated, but every single negative comment drags the entire community down just a little bit, and I will not tolerate it. I am here mainly to protect people that are trying to be positive members of the community and want to help the game improve, so if you are being negative, you should expect to feel my wrath.

    If you are having issues, you need to communicate it in a CONSTRUCTIVE (definition 1) way. If you do not, you will be suspended from the forums until you can review the rules and gain some perspective.

    There are literally MILLIONS of areas in an MMO that can break down at any time...MILLIONS of lines of code that can produce bugs, and MILLIONS of opinions of how I am not doing my job and GamersFirst is fail. Well those opinions are wrong and have no place here on the forums, I will not allow disrespect or negativity, these are the sources of problems in the community that will grow and pollute the positive members.

    I should also point out, GamersFirst owns these forums and makes the rules, there is no such thing as "free speech" here. These forums exist to provide an official and safe place for players of the game 9Dragons to gather and discuss all things related to the game, within the rules we set. We have nothing to gain by punishing players unnecessarily, so we won't do that.

    Additionally, it is a bad idea to get in a verbal sparring match with me or any of the mod's. It will lead to you losing, every single time. We have unfair advantages that you cannot overcome. Please do not test us, I want this community to be as big and diverse as possible, I will surely have to ban a lot of people over time, but I do not like doing it, I only do it to protect the community as a whole.

    If I am shutting down useless topics every two minutes, suspending people, and overall babysitting you all, I will not have time to get issues fixed and improve the game.

    Please understand that it is my goal to greatly improve things as fast as possible but I do need your help to do so. All you need to do is be positive and helpful, post your suggestions and report technical issues. Eventually, you will see your ideas and suggestions actually improve the game, but you need to earn the ability to do that. A raging mob has no voice.

    There IS a lot of talent in this community, I see people everyday step up and try to help people with questions and issues (not to mention the translations, that was awesome), so I know there is a bright future ahead of us. I have to work on breaking you out of your old habits and focus you on the path to being useful and constructive. If you are these things, you will be able to have an overall affect on the game, I know nothing about 9Dragons compared to you lot, my job is to listen to you here and improve the game based on what you say, and I have to fit it into our business model, and plan well enough so that we make incremental progress.

    Have a great weekend all, if there are issues, do the following:

    1. Identify issue
    2. Take a deep breath and let the rage subside
    3. go to the forums and use SEARCH to find if anyone else had the problem
    4. If not, make a new topic in the TECHNICAL ISSUES forum
    5. Explain the issue clearly and constructively, post a screenshot if you can. Follow the instructions of a mod or staff when needed.
