Normally around this time of the year we get a update from Sabre about the next upcoming 18 WOS. So i sent a email off too Sabre and the reply back..... well......Here's the reply i got back from Sabre.

Honestly, we are not sure about the future of 18 Wheels of Steel
franchise, we still haven't been commissioned for a sequel for 2007.
Normally we would already be very far into development of another yearly
release. We are still in discussions with ValuSoft - this is their
franchise and they call all the shots. All is not lost yet, but it is
pretty clear now that the yearly autumn release cycle has been broken.
In the mean time, we have one or two alternate projects on in
prototyping stage, both related to the world of truck simulation on the
PC, so even if 18 WoS future is uncertain, you guys will still hear from
us from time to time
