Érdekes hozzászólás, egy próbát megér esetleg.

"I've noticed that MANY people seem to have crashes or entirely pc locks up or then there's just big lag when playing S2. I don't know how many of these are running Vista, but those that do, consider this:

TURN OFF THE ##=)(%"#/( SIDE BAR!

Seriously, do it. That thing caused me more problems that I care to think about before I turned it off. I have Vista x64, 4Gb RAM, SB X-Fi and I have had no crashes, there's really been almost no lag and it has never locked up. (well, at least when playing. after some patch and/or the settings-clearing program I can't change any graphics settings anymore).

There's huuuuge memoryleaks in that thing. After 2-3 days without shutting down, the sidebar takes about 2Gb RAM - WITHOUT ANYTHING ON IT.

Just turn the thing off, at least try it. I have had it off since the first month after my Vista install and my memory never fills up anymore like before.

Like I said, I really don't know if it is this, but I seriously doubt that the sidebar is a big performance/stability hit in itself.

just my 0.01 (wasn't worth that much, eh? )
