I was about to preorder the game when I was astonished to find that the only Ati video cards supported are the x1000 series, in other words, cards that implement SM 3.0. My question is simple: Can I expect the game to work with an x800xt card? Surely you cannot be excluding everyone with these non-cutting edge cards??

Unfortunately, the only supported video cards for this game are cards that support SM3.0. There are no plans to addfunctionality for other, older video cards.
