Andrews2007 #6576 No minden kérdésemre és mások kérdéseire itt a válasz hivatalos fórumról.
stb....
You cannot buy the quest packs directly through the cogaccounts page, except for the expansion 'quest packs' which are currently available (so Moria and Mirkwood), the smaller packs you can purchase only through the ingame store with store points. Points in turn can be earned ingame for completing certain deeds and quests, and additional points can be purchased through the cogaccounts page with all the existing payment options for subscription plans (except gametime card I assume, but maybe we'll get special point cards at some point).
Yes you need to complete quite a few deeds to buy the quest packs, but the smaller quest packs start at about 350 store points. Also don't forget that points can be earned for completing the same deed on different characters, as well as different servers. Both points and quest packs you buy are accountwide, so you can have several characters working together towards buying new quest packs. And ofcourse they have to give some incentive for people to spend at least some money on the store, otherwise it wouldn't be profitable.
Yes, you will get to keep all that stuff, since you are an ex-subscriber you'll become a Premium player with certain benefits - these benefits are things like no bag or gold limits on your existing characters and possibly no trait slot limits either.
No you won't lose anything you currently have, you'll keep all your characters (if you have more characters than slots, which can happen if you go down to premium then some character may be locked, but they won't disappear or lose anything they have gained, they will just be temporarily unavailable to you until you unlock them - you yourself get the choice which characters are locked).
Also your characters keep all their levels, XP, skills, traits and all quests and deeds that you currently have in your quest log. If you are questing in an area you don't have access to as a premium you won't be able to pick up new quests, but you are allowed to finish the ones you still have in your log.
If you've purchased Mines of Moria and/or Mirkwood you will keep all of the content included in the expansions, regardless of whether you are VIP or not.
Ofcourse it's hard to say in advance how Codemasters will manage the store, as Turbine and Codemasters are different companies, so how they do things may differ. However I think if Codemasters are smart they too will have frequent discounts.
There will probably be two types of discounts we may see:
- discounts on buying store points with money from the accounts page
- sales where specific items in the store temporarily cost less points
The discount for buying points I think will probably be widely announced on the website/forums, ingame store and maybe even in the launcher. The specific item sales may be pre-announced but will most likely just require you to check the "Sale" section in the store (there will be a fixed store page where you can see all the items currently on discount, in fact to get the discount you must buy the item through that page, as in the other store pages the same item may just be shown at full price).
In general buying things from the store will be a tad overpriced, but that's to compensate for the fact that you're buying them for life-long access - once they sell you something (at least with quest packs and accountwide unlocks) they can't sell that same thing to you again. Monthly subscribers may pay less in the short term, but they have to keep paying if they want to retain access to what they've invested in so far, which means more money in the long run.
Basically the way it works is that the VIP subscription simply replaces the normal subscription we have now. The only real differences are the name change and the 500 store points you get for each month's VIP sub. Other than that not a lot changes. If you still have subscription time remaining from before F2P then that will automatically convert into VIP days in the new system - so for example if you add 60 days gametime now and F2P launches in 10 days, then you'll have 50 days VIP remaining after F2P.
Pretty much hit the nail on the head yes. Basically think of your turbine points (well ok they'll be called Codemasters points or something here ) as being a currency on your entire account, just like subscription time is.
When you have 500 points you can use them on any server and any character on your account, but if character A uses 200 points then the total goes down to 300 for the entire account. Likewise if character B earns 50 points by deeding and character C earns 100 points, then 150 points are added to your total.
Yes, as an ex-subscriber (which is basically anyone who has purchased and activated SoA before F2P) you will become an automatic premium member for life, you can never go down to 'free' status like the new players will be when they first join.
You'll have a few unique benefits that new players who upgrade from free to premium won't have, such as no limits on the gold and bags you have on your current characters. New characters created after F2P will have these limits however, so while you're still considered a 'subscriber' you may want to fill any extra slots you want to use in the future so that those new characters will also get a bit of a leg up.
Also don't worry about your english, it's good.
