Tony Hawk's Proving Ground For PC!

July 26, 2007 - It has been a few months since Neversoft has announced the new Tony Hawk title for xbox360 and PS3. About any possible PC version, they kept their mouth shut. No comment was given. Untill today.
Today Neversoft announced that they have been working on a PC version for some time too. For the fans, who never had THP8 for PC, this is wonderful news. Not only do they get PC games again, It will also be optimised for PC. That's right. Since the PC, Xbox360 and PS3 version are developped all at the same time, this game won't be a port like the previous games. That means the game will run much smoother, which is needed if you take a look at the graphics of the new episode.
Neversoft claims that they started working on this PC game after AndyTHPS, a very respected Tony hawk player and also a neversoft employee, showed them somethign amazing. A group of die-hard fans, brought together by a certain 'tyranT', an even more respected player, had started a clan over a Thlive.net's team base to convince Neversoft to make a PC version of their adored game. Neversoft claims that they were so moved by this event, that they had a talk with activision, and started to work on the PC version.
We had a quick chat with tyranT, the man who made this all possible. On our question what his first reaction was he said: "I never expected this. This was all ment as a joke at first. Ofcourse we want a new game, but we never actually thought we were going to make a diference, but guess what? We did!" Tyrant also requested us to make over his regards to sicko, who he says is 'a crazy junk', and a big fuck you to 'cosmicnacho' for still not making him an admin.
At our question or we could expect a THP8 game for pc neversoft replied that it is always possible.
