"Samples were examined in SRNL's shielded cells, and SRNL researchers working with personnel from the University of Georgia discovered Kineococcus radiotolerans : a microorganism able to withstand radiation doses thousands of times the dose that is lethal to humans. It is also capable of withstanding UV exposure and prolonged desiccation, along with various chemical toxins that have proven lethal to previously discovered radiation-resistant bacteria."
P.S. ha valamit mondok akkor azt csakis azért teszem, mert olvastam... láttam... ha valamit nem tudok azt tisztán szoktam mondani, hogy "nem tudom" tehát itt most utánnanéztem és megkerestem, ha jól emlékszem a Nature folyóiratban olvastam, vagy esetleg a LLNL Science & Technology-ban... de mindegy, itt van akit érdekel nézzen utánna.
