Fix on PC window XP :
Go to Control Panel > System > Advanced > Performance Setting > Execution Protection > "Add.." button > find the MM.exe (usually at the c:/program files/Ubisoft/Dark Messiah of Might and MAgic Demo) > click ok and you see that mm.exe on the list.
