    As reported yesterday, Real Madrid are interested in Sweden and Inter Milan forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

    Today's news is that Real Madrid chairman Florentino Perez will soon bid around 60 million Euros plus Dutch striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar to get Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Inter Milan are tempted to accept, but would not keep Huntelaar. In fact, they plan to bid 15 million Euros plus Huntelaar for France and Olympique Lyon striker Karim Benzema. Negotiations between Real, Inter and O.L. could begin soon.







    It seems that OL are ready to swoop for PSG 25 year old striker Guillaume Hoarau, who has scored 17 goals in Ligue 1 this past season.





    Porto 26 year old forward Lisandro Lopez is about to sign for Olympique Lyon for about 12 million euros.




    Olympique Lyon club officials are about to sign Brazilian international left-back Andre Santos (26) from Corinthians. The transfer also means that OL's current and want away left-back Fabio Grosso will soon join Juventus (who are tracking him since several weeks, as already reported). The official announcement regarding Santos is expected tomorrow or in a few days.





    Olympique Lyon are tracking Egyptian striker Amr Zaki, who has recently left Wigan Athletic after a loan period from Zamalek.





    Olympique Lyon are interested in Chilean Under 20 international midfielder Marcos Medel (20), who plays back home for Audax Italiano. However, Audax chairman Valentin Cantergiani has announced to local media sources that Medel can leave next year, not now.






    Olympique Lyon officials will soon bid 2.5 million Euros for Guingamp midfielder Richard Soumah (22).





    Olympique Lyon are interested in Macedonia and Lazio forward Goran Pandev.

    Manchester United want to sign Karim Benzema but Lyon should not ask for more than £35 million, according to the player's agent.

    "(Sir Alex) Ferguson wants Karim this summer," representative Karim Djaziri was quoted saying by the Daily Mail. "However his transfer fee will not be above £35m.

    "He is only 21, the only time a transfer of a 21-year-old went so high it was Robinho's transfer to Real Madrid (from Santos).

    "Karim can't be valued higher than David Villa, who will cost more than £40m."

    Lyon have been playing hardball over Benzema, who has also attracted interest from Real Madrid and Chelsea.

    They initially insisted he would cost upwards of £60m but admitted they would take less if the player wanted to leave.

    Both Benzema and his club previously stated that he will stay at Stade Gerland until after the 2010 World Cup.







    Real Madrid have made an enquiry about Lyon and France striker Karim Benzema, according to the Ligue 1 club.

    The Manchester United target, 21, has been linked with a move away from Stade Gerland for the past two seasons but both player and club insisted that he will remain until at least the 2010 World Cup.

    But, while Les Gones still maintain that he will stay, Madrid are prepared to splash the cash to bring yet another big name to the Bernabeu after the signing of Kaka and expected purchase of Cristiano Ronaldo.

    "Benzema and Lyon have both confirmed their intentions to continue working together," the Ligue 1 club's director of communications, Olivier Blanc, was quoted as saying by Marca.

    "The only new issue is that Real Madrid contacted us a few days ago to ask about the club's position regarding Benzema.

    "But we know the player wants to stay one more year at Lyon and we want to keep him."
