The vehicle physics in this game are actually more realistic than GTA 4 by far. Have you played NFS? GT5? FM4? The physics in this game are based on racing dynamics. That's why the cars feel so tight and responsive. Sure, in real life, your steering is limited to how quickly you can spin the wheel, but then again, you don't see Crown Victorias skating and drifting at two miles an hour on dune buggy suspensions and banana peel tires.
