Heres what you got to do.:
Uninstall your TQ, don't worry about all your stored characters for it will be restored to the same it was before the uninstallation process,
Okay, after the uninstallation process, restart your PC and then reinstall TQ, after installation don't overwrite the crack exe yet, for it will detect your version as unknown.
Now update the game with the 1.01 to 1.08 version, I've tried the 1.01 to 1.20 but it doesn't work at these stage, after the update you can use no-dvd crack for TQ 1.08, to run the game with no DVD.
After this you can update to higher versions like 1.08 to 1.20..
