Pop UP attack :
- ingress at 500ft or below with an airspeed of around 540 knots
- you should be in CCRP mode to line up with the target using the Azimuth Steering Line
- Action Point (the point where you begin the popup) is at 4.5nm from tgt... so when your slant range on the HUD reads 4.5 you start the pop up
- the pop up itself is flown like this: when you reach your Action Point go gate and begin a climbing turn to your offset angle and climb angle... in this case offset 35 degrees to left or right (depending on terrain and threats) and climb at 30 degrees
- you should use countermeasures on the climb
- when you're climbing you should gain tally on tgt
- when your altitude reaches 4900ft you bank 120 degrees towards the target and pull 5G to get the tgt infront of you on the HUD
- roll upright and switch to CCIP mode and drop more countermeasures
- you'll have a few seconds to aim... put the tgt on the bomb fall line and track the pipper up to the tgt and pickle... then do a descending turn to you egress heading and NOE again and drop more countermeasures
- you should stay gate all the way through the attack just to minimize the chance of getting the delay cue
