First Of All, respect to the developers. FF4 has very impressive graphics and sounds. MAkes me Feel to fly a real F-16 :-)
So I decided to test the Multiplayer Mode, cause I fly almost everyday MP with Falcon AF with people in Germany and AF graphics sucks :-) . But after a whole week, all day and all night intensive testing the MP mode of FF4.0 here are the facts main facts we figured out.
1. in TE you can play with some friends, and if one of your mates got a good internet connection and a up-to-date CPU for hosting the {sim}, you can say it´s some kind of stable connection. A few CTD´s, but personally I would put up with these problems in order to get these nice graphics :-)
2. in a campaign, You definitely CAN´T play FF4.0 online !!! We tried all theaters and nerver had a stable flight. Lots of CTD´s, graphic bugs, connection losses.
In the very beginning of a campaign you can fly, but if the units, the CPU has to calculate reaches a certain level, some clients get a disconnect or a CTD.
I have to mention, that we tried to minimize the causes of these problems and therefore tested the MP only with clients and hosts who got good stable connections with AF and had high-end environment. (core 2 duo 6400 and higher, GForce 7600 GT and Higher, 2 GB RAM and higher, Host 1 Mbit Up and Higher... etc.....)
Also we tried other connections like Hamachi or reduced the clients from 8 to 4 to 2. No changes in the end.
One thing is for sure. All campaigns do have to much units for the CPU to calculate in comparison to AF.
Questions to the developers: Is it possible to create or to modify one of your campaigns in order to have much less units?? Some kind of a smaller theatre or just modify an existing campaign ????
If so, we would test the MP in campaign moder again.
But unfortunately these facts show that if you want a stable Muliplayer Flight, You have to use AF.
If there are more pilots out there, who never experienced problems in campaign Muliplayer mode, we would like to know your conclusion and want to get in contact with you.

Nevertheless, in singleplayer mode, you can enjoy the campaign and the very impessive graphics and sounds of the redviper :-)
Its a great pitty that we came to that result but these are facts.
We also would like to have a feedback from the developers to the experiences we made.

EDIT: I forget to mention that there are some issues in the {sim}, which cant be ignored and if they dont get fixed one is goin to be very frustrated. Just one exmaple:
If you shoot 6 HARMS at activated radar, with time difference and not only one hit.... no comment. In the manual you mentioned that the PK of the HARM was reduced for some realistic reasons. Copy that. Good idea. But think about the realization. Texas Instruments, Raytheon (Dev of the AGM 188) wouldnt sell there innovation to the Air Force for 283.958 US Dollars per piece, if the missles had such a LOW PK :-)
I picked that special example, cause SEAD, SEAD escort or SEAD and DEAD missions are one of the prior tasks of the F-16 in the {sim}.

We tried play in MP (only two human player) with AF, and didn't work, becuse it the AF has also too many units for this. ( My upload is 384kbps.)

Please stay on topic. I want to discuss the MP of redviper and not the one of Allied Force. I just mentioned AF to have a comparison, and in the end everybody knows that AF still got the most stable MP code of ALL falcon mods and extension. Its a pitty I know.
