"A quick clarification on why I asked you not to ask for specific gameplay demo stuff or announcements. We always have constraints on what we can demo or announce at any show, and we have to work hand-in-hand with the development team on that. So while your suggestions are great, that doesn’t mean you’re going to get exactly what you want – and I don’t want to make you believe you’re going to get one thing, then get something else.
That said, I want to assure everyone that there will be a hands-on, playable demo of The Old Republic at PAX East. What will it be? Which part(s) of the game? Come and find out.
Also rest assured that the development team will be putting in extra effort to make sure we have a polished, fun and generally excellent demo for you to play. We want your trip to be worth it."
