There isn't anything else that would be worthy of an expanion? Like... FINALLY finding out what happened to Turalyon & Alleria Windrunner (two of the original Alliance expedition that disappeared after entering the dark portal)? The Twisting- fucking -Nether? Finding out the true fate of Kil'Jaeden (he was banished, not destroyed)? Finding out whatever the hell they spent all of Silverpine Forest in Cata alluding to with Sylvanas (they made her out to be teetering on the edge of sanity, or on the edge of becoming another Lich King)? Or like liverebel said, they could've finally done something on the Emerald Dream. That's just been sitting in the think tank since vanilla.
Instead of elaborating on ALL those plot points, they choose Pandas. PANDAS. A fucking joke race from 2003.
If I needed any proof Blizzard (not that I had much faith to begin with) doesn't give a shit about story quality anymore, I have the proof now.
Blizz had one of the richest lore resources of an ip you could ever hope to find once upon a time - and since TBC they've just shit all over it.
