have identified what is causing the problem,
IOS5 cannot handle LARGE ALBUM ART.
the integrated albumart was about 3500x3500 pixels.
Tracks with large album art seems to cause problems (crash...)
but there was absolutely no problem playing these tracks in previous IOS...
so annoying...
