Nem tudom már hol találtam a leírást a kézi eltávolításhoz, de sajnos nekem is kellett már igy megoldanom :-( Nem tudom miért nincs (vagy van?) valami "gyári" megoldás erre - gondolom ismert a probléma az esetnél is. NA akkor:
Manually uninstalling ESET Smart Security or ESET NOD32 Antivirus 3.0
To remove an ESET security product from your computer, first attempt to use the Windows uninstaller: click Start › Programs › ESET › Uninstall and then proceed directly to steps 5 and 6. If the Windows uninstaller fails, the ESET components must be removed manually by following steps 1-6.
Warning: The manual removal steps below involve working with important system files in the Windows Registry. Please proceed only if you are an experienced user:
Click Start › Run, type regedit and click OK.
Find and delete the following registry keys:
-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ESET
-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ESET
Find and delete the following registry value:
-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current\Version\Run\egui
Click Start › Control Panel › Folder Options › View tab › select Show hidden files and folders.
Vista Users: click Start › Control Panel › Appearance and Personalizaton › Folder Options › View tab › Show hidden files and folders.
Navigate to the C:\WINDOWS\inf folder and delete the INFCACHE.1 file.
Restart the computer. Once the computer has restarted, delete the following folders:
C:\Program Files\ESET
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ESET
C:\Documents and Settings\%USER%\Application Data\ESET
Vista Users must delete the following folders:
C:\Program Files\ESET
C:\Program Data\ESET
