“Posting this as I started my first match, things I see:
- Kagawa at United, Powell too. Bebe also there. No RVP which was expected. Hernandez only 73 OV, way too low, but let's see how he plays.
- Some of the guys look brilliant. Kagawa looks fantastic
- I haven't played demo one for a couple of weeks as I've been busy, so maybe it's that, but this feels a touch slower to me, not sure if it's been toned down or if it's because I haven't played for a while.
- I'm United against Bilbao, 36 minutes in and they take the lead with a beautiful move...the finish is sublime, one on one and Munain slots it past De Gea, felt very 'realistic' the way he finished.
- Shooting has certainly been toned down here. Also, the R2/RT (finesse shot or whatever they call it now) is glorious on first impression. Seems that gone are the days where you run inside, go for an RT shot and the player it's it with the foot you don't want him to...instead they now attempt it with the foot that will curl it in towards the post (example, I came in from the right side with Welbeck and tried the R2 shot...he did a super curl shot that bended right past the post, keeper was a spectator. In previous ones, instead of hitting it with his left, Welbeck would of struck it with his strong foot instead.)
Ended up losing 1-0. Game flew by, shame about no 10 minute matches but it's no big deal considering the game is due next month. I'll post more thoughts in a little while after a few more games...big positives so far for me.”
“After another game, slowed down a touch for sure IMO.
Also the assisted passing is much more assisted on the default settings than what it was in the last demo for anybody that uses assisted.
Juve are bloody immense on this game. Pirlo is always where he should be, the positioning looks brilliant, he's constantly in the right spot in the middle of the pitch and moving around when he's passed the ball to find space.
What I will say is that it's tough to really judged the difficulty of the AI in terms of them attacking because the matches are so short. If you like to play slow build up then the time really does whiz past.
Asamoah is an early standout, came on and was immense. Struck a beauty off the post at the end, I'll try upload it, though it'll be poor quality ”
