FIFA 11 DEMO VS. PES 2011 DEMO
Ok first of before i give my big review in both games, since i play and like both games, i would lke to refrain myslef from all the hostile people in this forums, the one you people call it "fan boys" from both parties, lol, its my openion and every one has a different openion. and i have not mastered of english yet, so keep that in mind.
The comparision i am gonno make is oonly for pc versions of both.
Graphics:
Fifa NG 11 graphics has disppointed me a little, i though NG graphics were something as good as crysis game. The faces look somewhat old with some players have Zombie eyes, its not all the faces, its some of it, and most of the faces were two years old like higuain and ramos, i donno if those were gonno get updated, but general graphics, its a bit unreal look in it, the pitch does not look real either. player bodies look identical. not impreseed.
I am giving it 4.5/10.
As for PES, it was completely opposite, the pitch, the lighning, the shadow, every thing has been a huge iimprovemnt from 2010 verison, player bodies, every thing, except for player faces which look the same as last verision, every thing is updated. The faces are great too but when i saw the faces of fifa 11 PS3, those were something else. Every thing looked stunning in stadiums, except the fans, those were a little unreal. but aside that, every thing look like a real thing
So i am giving it 8.5/10.
The Tactical side:
The way i play i liked both but the tactical side of the game was different, Pes was way ahead in that matter, they were more advanced, every thing was controled through tactics in pes, fifa was more of an old type of tactic system, which was outdated.
So i give Fifa 6/10 and Pes 8.5/10.
The Animations:
Fifa animations were solid, they all looked real, but they didnt have out of ordeneray animations like pes, their small animations were amazing, like the playermovements, but the big let down was the running and dribbling, which you couldnt see the difference between pedro leon running and dribbling or ronaldo, or bojan and messi, their running and dribbling were identical, that was a big letdown, may be thats why Ps3 verison have the Personality + thing.
I will give it 8/10.
On the other hand PES animaitons were mixed bag, there were animations that were so stunning and soo real, but small porton of animation looked old and robotic, its a big, i mean completely big improvement from their last version, but still not perfect enough to be better then fifa. the linking of their animations were not good either. the shooting looked great and passing was just outstanding. but you could always feel that something was missing.
i will give it 7/10, may be next year, they will be bit more solid as fifa and more linked.
The Gameplay:
Now here is the big thing.
Fifa gameplay was soild but not outstanding, there wrent many things you could do that would surprise or make you say wow, its was too ordenary, and nothing new.
The dribbling of players were identical, you couldnt see the difference between messi or ronaldo.
Their AI was smart, way more effective then pes AI but was very ordenary and less stunning. There was not much dribbling from AI which was a bit dissaponting, other then that, the Pro level difficluty was hard for me, and the AI was very smart with their movements and and everything.
As for PES, its was THE COMPELTE opposite which was a mixed bag, there were just too many stuff that surprises u, which yes, they looked like real football simolating. but it was just too much, i mean it was overkill lol.
The dribbling and running of players were outstanding, messi was acting like messi cutting inside etc.
The AI was a mixed bag, they AI wasnt good enough against me, i never lost a game on World class level, may be just once but that lucky, but their AI wasnt as Smart as fifa AI, fifa AI always looked for spaces and movements of players were amazing. althrough they didnt dribbled like PES AI did.
So Fifa ratings:
General Gameplay: 8/10.
AI Gameplay: 8.5/10.
Dribbling: 7/10.
Pes ratings:
General Gameplay 8.5
AI gameplay: 7/10
Dribbling: 9/10
Overall:
Nothing was perfect, fifa has flaws, pes has flaws, both are mixed bags, the thing there, there were just too many flaws in both games, which was a bit dissapointing, but i will be playing two games. i will swich whenever i get bored.
