The agent of Chelsea new boy Mohamed Salah claims Liverpool missed out on a deal with FC Basel because they took too long at the negotiating table. Sascha Empacher said:
"It was a long and fair negotiation with Liverpool but it took two-and-a-half months - too long. Both clubs could not agree on terms."
