1. use on of the above methods to install the game and get to the key activation window.
2. press start>run> typ cmd and typ NETSTAT -A and hit enter, u now get a list of open connections, dont close this (MAKE SURE U DONT OPEN ANY OTHER PROGRAMS THAT REQUIRE INTERNET CONNECTION, ELSE THE LIST CHANGES)
3. enter some random key from another game or ANYTHING as long as its numbers, but dont confirm yet.
4.open another cmd and typ NETSTAT -A again but dont hit enter yet.
5. ok now it gets tricky, u gotta confirm the key entering process AND hit enter in the cmd right after it, so confirm the key u just entered, and 1 sec later hit enter in the cmd.
6. 2k uses multiple auth servers so its possible u get a whole different ip than other ppl.
7. compare the 2 NETSTAT for changes in the list, if u found the new IP thats been added head to step 8.
8. add the new ip found in the 2nd NETSTAT to the hosts file located in system32/drivers/etc and PUT "localhost" behind it without the ".
9. now repeat the key activation process, enter some random stuff and if u did all of the above steps right it will proceed and change the registry which leaves u with a playable version.
