ANCELOTTI: 'Maldini could be back following Sunday'

MILANELLO - Carlo Ancelotti then spoke about the captain: 'We have to solve the problem without Paolo Maldini, we won't be there tomorrow. He will make an important contribution when he returns. Maldini could be back the following Sunday in Reggio Calabria. He's an important player for us. Stam and Gilardino will play tomorrow.'

What we do in training is expressed on the pitch at the weekend. Generally, if we do well in training we put in a positive performance. Lately, we haven't applied that work in games. I can guarantee that we will give our maximum tomorrow evening. Our pride has been dented lately but we'll show all our pride in Rome.'
