AC Milan are ready to offer Massimo Ambrosini to Inter Milan in exchange for Marco Materazzi.
Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti wants a new centre-half ahead of the January market and is prepared to sacrifice Ambrosini if he can land Italy international Materazzi.
Also in Milan's sights is Cagliari centre-half Michele Canini.
